Bushkill Park
Easton, PA
NOTE: Please call the park before visiting. The park was not open as of July 1, 2007
Bushkill Park is a wonderful little park near Easton, PA. The park features a number of rides and attractions mainly geared toward children. There is a Roller Skating Rink in the park. From Interstate 78, take the 25th street/Wilson Street exit which is route 248. Go west for almost a mile until the traffic light just before the Palmer Park Mall. Turn right on to Park Road and the park is about a mile away on your right side. Turn right to cross the bridge and enter the parking lot. Parking is free. Bushkill Park |
The park is home to the 1924 Allen Herschell Antique Carousel moved to Bushkill Park from Willow Mill park when that park closed. The Barl of Fun funhouse still has a large, wooden, rotating barrel that you walk through. Other rides include a Lusse Auto Skooters (Bumper Cars), a Train, Tilt-A-Whirl, Whip and Scrambler as well as a host of Kiddie Rides. Bushkill Park opened in 1902. There was once a wood coaster at Bushkill Park (present location) and the antique Carousel that is currently there came from the defunct Willow Mill Park near Mechanicsburg, PA. Please note, it was reported incorrectly here as well as several other places that Bushkill was originally Island Park. This is not so, several rides came from Island Park which closed well after Bushkill Park opened. We apologize for this error. Click here for photographs of the park and many of it's rides including:
