| Over the past year, reports have been coming in
about a park called Beach Haven. It is located near the nuclear
power plant outside of Berwick, PA. It was once home to a race
track that closed in the 1970s. The race track is still very
visible on the USGS Topo maps and on the aerial photos (see
links on right)
The race track has a small pond in the center and small
grandstands near it2
Possible remains of a roller coaster or train2
Possible remains of a Carousel3
Park with possible ride remains4
Also in the area was Happyland Amusement Park, listed in
Shickshinny. Could they be the same park? There is also the possibility
of an amusement park on Mingles Inn Road, could that be
Happyland AP?
